Morgan Kibby’s solo project White Sea has signed to Mom + Pop Music – home to artists like Metric, Neon Indian and fellow SONGS artists, Sleigh Bells.

Kibby – a writer, producer, remixer and multi-instrumentalist – co-wrote three songs on M83’s acclaimed album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, including the singles "Midnight City" and "Reunion". Over the last year, she’s been touring the album with the band on keyboards and vocals, doing remixes and original music for film, and demo-ing new White Sea material. 

Next up, she'll head into the studio to record her debut record for Mom + Pop! We're stoked to hear her new stuff!

M83 is at it again. Continuing the glowy-eyed, paranormal children’s storyline from their “Midnight City” video, “Reunion” is creative, imaginative and nothing short of what we’d expect from this talented group.

White Sea's infectious track "Overdrawn" was featured over the end credits of the "Vagina Panic" episode of HBO's hit show Girls.

SONGS is proud to announce the signing of Morgan Kibby (aka White Sea). Morgan is a member of M83 and co-writer on the infectious track "Midnight City," which topped numerous 2011 year-end lists and is still impacting at radio. Morgan's White Sea project is preparing a full-length and known for some great remixes.
