A&R / Research
Corey began his music industry career at Universal Music Publishing in 1997 as an assistant in the International and Film/TV departments to Kim Frankiewicz and Ed Razzano. During his two years at Universal, he met Avery Lipman, who brought him to the A&R Research department at Universal Records. Over the next six years, Corey grew into an A&R manager and worked with artists such as Tonic, Pat Green, and Mushroomhead. He then went on to work closely with Sylvia Rhone as a Director of A&R during her tenure as President of Motown, before spending a short eight months at Epic Records with LA Reid and Mike Flynn. Corey began his journey with the SONGS Music Publishing team in late 2012.
