The Dirty Heads break Billboard radio chart record

SONGS writers The Dirty Heads have made Billboard radio history by breaking the all time record set by an independent band at Alternative radio, spending 10 consecutive weeks at #1. “Lay Me Down” featuring Rome of Sublime with Rome, has broken the record set in 1998 by Everlast for the song “What it’s Like”. MNDR was recently included in Pitchfork’s list of Best New Tracks. SONGS Hits the Box Office with "21" (Columbia)

Columbia's film "21" features Great Northern 's excellent track, "Home". The film stars Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth and Laurence Fishburne in the film-adaptation of the bestseller, "Bringing Down the House": the true story of six MIT students who took Vegas for millions by mastering card counting. It has grossed $60 million in the first three weeks.

SONGS lands NBA Playoff promos

There are five SONGS artists in "The Sims" this season. For each track, vocals were re-recorded in "Simlish" (the special language spoken by Sims denizens). The songs will appear in three different expansion packs to the hit game. Brotherhood (SHO) gets lucky with the Old 97s

One brother runs for reelection while the other uses his Irish mob influence to defend against his brother’s political enemies on Showtime’s Brotherhood. The episode features the Old 97s "Four Leaf Clover" which was re-released on their 2005 album Alive and Wired. This episode premiered Sunday 11/11 and will repeat 11/14 at 11PM, 11/15 at 11:30PM, 11/16 at 10PM, and 11/ 17 at 11PM. It is also available On Demand.

Earlimart featured on Bionic Woman again (NBC)

For the second time this month, Earlimart will be featured in the hit series Bionic Woman. With its ethereal duet and introspective harmony, “The Little Things,” will be featured on 11/7. Bionic Woman garners almost 14 million viewers weekly and airs Wednesdays at 9PM on NBC.
