SONGS writer JT Harding co-wrote a track on Jake Owen's Billboard 200 chart-topping album "Barefoot Blue Jean Night."  The song, titled "Alone With You," has begun impacting Country radio and is a sure bet to climb the charts.

SONGS writer Brian Lee has co-written and co-produced 2 tracks on Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated new album.The songs titled “Americano” and “Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)” may very well be worldwide anthems in the upcoming year.  Lee also contributed vocals to a third track titled “Government Hooker.”

MNDR has recieved a nomination for Best Web-Born Artist at the O Music Awards, MTV's new award show that recognizes the best in digital music.  MNDR faces stiff-competition from Kina Grannis, The Weeknd, Ben Lovett, and OFWGKTA, so be sure to vote here .  

Andrew McMahon of Jack's Mannequin co-wrote two songs, "Over and Over," and "Dangerous Connection on the newly released O.A.R. album, "King." The album debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart.

"All of the Lights" as performed by Kanye West featuring Rihanna, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Fergie, Kid Cudi, and Elton John, among others, is now a platinum single after charting Top 5 at both Urban and Rhythmic radio formats. The single reached number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in the United States (song co-published by SONGS on behalf of co-writer Warren Trotter).

Lady Gaga's new hit "Americano" (co-written and co-produced by SONGS' Brian Lee ) is being featured in trailers for the Shrek spin-off movie, Puss in Boots.  The song will also play during the final scene and end credits of the movie.  Puss in Boots hits theaters on 11/4/11.  Check out the trailer here .

"Kids" by Sleigh Bells has once again received a placement, this time in promos for the Showtime drama Shameless.  These promos will air online starting December 19th and will run for the next 12 weeks.  Additionally, the promos will air on TV starting on January 1st and will run until the Shameless Season 2 premiere on January 8th, so keep an eye and an ear out.  

MNDR's "Jump In" has been placed on MTV's new series Good Vibes in the episode titled "The D-List."  Good Vibes airs on Thursdays at 11 PM EST, and you can watch the episode here .   

Jack's Mannequin's "The Resolution" has been placed in the Week 11 episode of NBC's hit weight-loss show, The Biggest Loser.  The song plays as the contestants race with added weights and reflect on their progress from the start of the show.  Check it out here .

THQ's new action-adventure video game Saints Row: The Third features "C.L.U.B." by MNDR and "Riot Rhythm" by Sleigh Bells.  "C.L.U.B." can be heard on the in-game radio station 97.6 K12 FM and "Riot Rhythm" can be heard on 89.0 Generation X.  Saints Row: The Third is available now and can be purchased here .

Promos for the new ABC daytime show The Revolution are featuring "Casting Lines" by Jack's Mannequin.  These prmos are airing now through January 2012, so keep an eye out. 

"More for the Holidays" by Shapes of Racecars has been placed in TV spots for Telus Optik TV and Internet.  These spots are currently airing in Canada and can also be seen here .

"My Soul or the Grave" by El Presidente has been placed on CBS's new hit series A Gifted Man.  The song plays as Michael arrives at Holt Medical at the same time as Rita's son.  The episode, titled "In Case of Missed Communication," airs on Friday, November 18th at 8 PM EST.  It can also be found here .  

"Sooner or Later" by N.E.R.D (written by Pharrell Williams) has been placed on HBO's hit series How to Make it in America.  The song plays during the end credits of the November 13th episode, titled "The Friction."  How to Make it in America airs Sundays at 10 PM EST, so be sure to tune in.

"In the Dark" by Dev has recieved yet another placement, this time in NBC's Parks and Recreation.  The song was featured in the episode titled "Meet 'N' Greet" during Tom's 720 Entertainment "End of the World" party.  Check it out here .

"Official" has become the latest Junip song to receive a placement on NBC's Parenthood.  The song plays during the episode titled "Forced Family Fun" and can be heard as Julia has trouble with sushi with Zoe and Zeke talks to Adam about Sarah.  Check it out here .

Pigeon John 's infectious hit "The Bomb" is being featured in promos for Cartoon Network's new series, Level Up.  Look out for these promos which are airing on Cartoon Network, The CW Kids and Nickelodeon, and can also be seen online here .  

Junip was the musical guest on the November 7th episode of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.  The Swedish trio performed their song "Always," which you can see here .

"She's My Suicide" by Minutes til Midnight has been placed on USA's hit comedy Psych.  The song can be heard during a scene at a vampire bar as Lassiter waits for a girl he met to get out of the bathroom.  The episode airs on Wednesday, October 26th at 10 PM EST, and it can also be seen here .

Dev's "In the Dark" is being featured in promos for The CW's 90210.  These promos will run until September 13th on The CW and can be seen here.

Season 2 of HD Theater's Cafe Racer featured a whole bevy of SONGS.  "Man of the People," "The Unbeliever," and "Brother John" by Middle Distance Runner, "Rum Brave" by Murder by Death , and "Oye Vaya" by Earl Greyhound  were all placed in various episodes of this roaring motorcycle show.  Look out for it on Thursdays at 8:00 PM EST on HD Theater.

“Lay Me Down (featuring Rome of Sublime)” by The Dirty Heads is among a strong collection of candidates for this top honor. Other nominees include songs by Train, Mumford & Sons, and Florence and the Machine.

"Somewhere With You" as performed by Kenny Chesney and co-written by SONGS/Mighty Seven writer JT Harding has spent 3 weeks as the number one song at Country Radio according to Mediabase and BDS. The single and the album are both approaching platinum sales status since their release in October.

SONGS writer, Dev co-wrote and is featured on the New Boyz platinum-selling single “Backseat”. The song peaked at #17 on the Pop Charts and #26 on the Hot 100.

SONGS artists The Acorn and Junip have both been placed in the new movie, Crazy Stupid Love. Junip's song "Loops" is heard in a scene outside of the highschool, and The Acorn's song "Almanac" can be heard in a scene in an SUV. "Almanac" is also on the soundtrack, which can be viewed here .

“Mr. Taxi” as performed by Korean Pop super group Girls Generation is the #1 song in both Japan and Korea! (co-published by SONGS/Mighty Seven music on behalf of writers Chad Royce and Scott Mann).

"Kids" by Sleigh Bells  has once again been placed, this time in the second episode of HBO's 24/7: Pacquaio/Marquez.  The episode airs on Saturday, October 29th at 10 PM EST, so be sure to check it out.

"Last Man Standing" by Asher Roth and Akon (co-written by SONGS writer Arama Mara) has made the soundtrack for EA Sports Madden NFL 12 and can be heard during gameplay.  Check out a trailer for the game featuring "Last Man Standing" here and make sure to pick up a copy.

Jack's Mannquin 's "Television" is featured in the new expansion pack for The Sims 3, The Sims 3: Pets.  Users will hear the song during gameplay and will no doubt notice that the song has been re-recorded in the fictional Sims language, Simlish.  The Sims 3: Pets is now available, so be sure to pick it up.

"Riot Rhythm" by Sleigh Bells  has been placed on the CBS legal drama The Good Wife.  The song plays during the scene with Alicia and Grace's tutor at a cafe and as a hand-cuffed Sweeny  is escorted to a police truck.  The episode airs on Sunday, October 23rd at 9:00 PM EST, or you can check it out here .

Caveman 's "A Country's King of Dreams" has been placed in the first episode of HBO's 24/7: Pacquiao/Marquez.  The episode airs on Saturday, October 22nd at 10 PM EST, so be sure to check it out.  

"Telegram" by Buried Beds has been placed in an episode of ABC's Private Practice titled "Remember Me."  The episode airs on Thursday, October 20th at 10 PM EST, or you can watch it here .

Junip 's "Howl" has been placed on an episode of HBO's Bored to Death.  The song plays as Jonathan and Ray evade the police who are searching for them.  The episode airs at 9 PM EST on Monday, October 17th, and it can also be found on HBO GO and On Demand. 

Action Item has placed not one, not two, but three songs in the two-part season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E!.  "Defenseless," "Home," and "Some Days" will all be featured during "Kim's Fairytale Wedding."  Part one airs at 8 PM EST on October 9th, and part two airs at 9 PM EST on October 10th.  Don't miss it.

The ABC Family original movie "Teen Spirit" featured songs from Shapes of Race Cars  and Middle Distance Runner .  Both "Get Melted" and "Passenger" by Shapes of Race Cars and "Naturally" by Middle Distance Runner can be heard during the movie which originally aired in August but will be shown again throughout October.  Also, both bands will be featured artists on the ABC Family website.  

The Black Cards song "Club Called Heaven" (co-written by SONGS writer Adam Pallin) is being featured in promos for E!'s Sunday night lineup.  These promos started airing on October 2nd, so be on the look-out.  

Dev 's hit single "In the Dark" was featured on the September 27th episode of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."  The song was used during a dance segement that incorporates showgirl moves with contemporary beats.  Check it out here .

Two SONGS artists have been featured on the ABC Family show The Nine Lives of Chloe King.  First, Minutes Til Midnight 's song "Unstoppable" was played on the August 9th episode "Responsible," and then Junip's "Without You" was played on the August 16th episode "Beautiful Day," which can be seen here .

"Only in Dreams" by Letters has been featured in the pilot episode of the new ABC Family show The Lying Game.  The song plays during a discussion between Emma (as Sutton) and Sutton's siter, Laurel.  Check it out here .

SONGS writers The Dirty Heads have made Billboard radio history by breaking the all time record set by an independent band at Alternative radio, spending 12 consecutive weeks at #1. “Lay Me Down” featuring Rome of Sublime with Rome, has broken the record set in 1998 by Everlast for the song “What it’s Like”. Middle Distance Runner’s “Man of the People” is featured on USA Networks’ promotions for its newest original series, Covert Affairs.

"Momma" by Middle Distance Runner was featured in the season 6 premiere of Weeds (Showtime), which aired August 16th.

In Ben Affleck's upcoming film The Company Men, SONGS own Middle Distance Runner is featured in the trailer for the movie, which premieres in October. The instrumental of the song "The Sun And Earth" plays in the opening of the trailer.

MNDR was recently included in Pitchfork’s list of Best New Tracks. As Pitchfork tells it, her song “I Go Away” is “a major highlight from her debut EP, E.P.E., filled with distinctive synths that melt all over a spare, echoing drum beat like a candy house left out in the hot sun.
